Consultation Expectations
1. Purpose of the Consultation
The consultation provides an opportunity to discuss your child’s learning strengths, challenges, and academic goals. This meeting helps determine how Acadence Education can provide personalized support tailored to your child’s needs.
2. Parent Participation
A parent or guardian should be present during the consultation to provide background information about the child’s learning experiences, school environment, and areas of concern. This helps ensure the consultation is meaningful and productive.
3. Child Observation (When Appropriate)
In some cases, the child may participate briefly during the consultation so that learning behaviors, engagement, and developmental skills can be observed in a natural setting.
4.Discussion of Learning Goals
During the consultation, we will identify potential areas of focus such as early literacy, numeracy, executive functioning, or kindergarten readiness. Families will receive recommendations for possible next steps.
5.Opportunity for Questions
Families are encouraged to ask questions during the consultation regarding services, learning strategies, scheduling, and expectations for ongoing support.
6.No Obligation to Continue Services
The consultation is an informational meeting designed to help families determine whether Acadence Education is the right fit for their child’s learning needs. There is no obligation to schedule additional services following the consultation.

Do you provide therapy services such as ABA?
Acadence Education provides educational consulting and academic support services focused on foundational learning and school readiness. At this time, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services are not offered at this time.
What happens after the consultation?
Following the consultation, families may receive recommendations and a suggested learning plan outlining potential areas of focus and next steps for supporting their child’s development.
